Stone Poetry Quarterly (formerly Stone Poetry Journal) publishes poetry ranging from the visceral to the cerebral across a full scope of human experience and awareness. Stone Poetry Quarterly prefers to publish poems that present a diversity of contemporary perspectives and are well-crafted, artistic explorations of language, subject, and image.

Damian Ward Hey, founding editor of Stone Poetry Quarterly, holds a BA in English from Columbia University; and a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from SUNY at Stony Brook. Hey is a professor of English on Long Island. His poems have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies.
