Hermine Meinhard’s book Bright Turquoise Umbrella, published by Tupelo Press, was a finalist for the Poetry Society of America’s Norma Farber First Book Award. Her poetry has appeared in The Nu Review, American Letters & Commentary, Barrow Street, Drunken Boat, Verse Daily and other journals, and is forthcoming in Lily Poetry Review. Starting in 2020 Meinhard conceived, curated and hosted her reading series Nights of the Fireflies.
